SCLD has looked at digital technology across health and social care for people with learning disabilities.

In this event, you will find out about the digital navigators, what it was like being a co-researcher and what they found out in their report.

Event 2: Digital Connection

Digital Inclusion can help people with learning disabilities feel connected.

Event 3: NHS 24 Digital Services and NHS Lanarkshire Digital Safety Programme

Monday 6 May
3.30pm – 4.30pm

This event is by NHS 24 and NHS Lanarkshire.

In this event you will hear from NHS 24 who will deliver a myth-busting session, providing an
overview of digital services and how NHS 24 meets the needs of people with learning
disabilities now and in the future.

Then you will hear from NHS Lanarkshire about their online safety programme to support
people with learning disabilities to use the internet safely.

Event 4: Avoid scams

Some people with learning disabilities are nervous about going online because they are worried about scams.

Event 5: Digital Front Door

The Scottish Government is developing a ‘Digital Front Door’ which will offer more health and care services online.
