Everyone is invited to come to our open afternoons during the week, where they will meet the service users and staff and have the opportunity take part in small group sessions including brooch, charm and card making, A ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ show, and a dance show!

The Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory are holding their second national conference: Integrating evidence, policy and practice on Tuesday 16th May in the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow from 9.30am-3.45pm. The programme and details of how to register for the event can be found on our website.

Looking Back, Thinking Forward

We will celebrate our Project SEARCH Interns’ successes and encourage the local community to engage with our programme. The keynote speaker is Dr Justin Williams, a leading researcher in psychiatry with a focus on autism. The event will take place in the Sir Duncan Rice Library from 10am-12pm.

The Star Ball

Let’s come together to celebrate Learning Disability Week! From 7.30pm at Douglas Ewart High School, we’ll have a live band, special guest entertainment, a red carpet, evening buffet, licensed bar and more. Tickets cost £10.
