‘How’s Life?’ Scotland’s Learning Disability Survey

For the first time in over 10 years, we are carrying out a survey for people with a learning disability.

If you have a learning disability and are aged 16 or older, the survey will be a chance for you to tell us about your everyday life and experiences.

The more people who take part, the more impact the findings will have.

To carry out the survey, SCLD are working in partnership with ENABLE Scotland, Key, ARC Scotland, People First Scotland, Down’s Syndrome Scotland and PAMIS.

Ways to take part

You can phone the SCLD office on 0141 248 3733 or email admin@scld.co.uk to request a copy of the survey to be posted out to you. This will include a Freepost envelope.

Or you can take the survey online.

Or you can download a copy of the ‘How’s Life’ Survey here.

You can then post your completed copy of the survey back to SCLD at:

Suite 5.2
Stock Exchange Court
77 Nelson Mandela Place
G2 1QY

If you are supporting somebody else to complete the survey, please read the cover information before completing the survey. This survey is for people aged 16 and older. If you are supporting somebody else to complete the survey, they must be aged 16 or older.

If you care for someone with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and would like to discuss alternative ways to take part in the survey, please get in touch with Ruth Callander on Ruth.C@scld.co.uk or contact Maureen Phillip at PAMIS directly on m.phillip@dundee.ac.uk.
