Good Practice Collector

The Working Together with Parents Network would like to hear good practice examples of supporting parents with learning disabilities, that you or your organisation are involved in.

This could be examples of providing accessible information, referral and assessment procedures, support based on a families strengths and needs, long term support and independent advocacy.

Examples of good practice are welcome from a wide range of organisations. This can include organisations with specialist learning disability services and wider organisations working across a range of areas including: housing, addiction and advice agencies etc.

The Working Together with Parents Network wants to make sure that organisations working to support parents with learning disabilities have the opportunity to learn from one another’s experience. We hope this will improve how services are working with parents.

If you feel you have an example which demonstrates good practice please complete the form below.

Good practice examples will be shared with network members at quarterly network meetings, shared online and potentially via publication. This will not be done without you or your organisations formal permission.

Please do not share any private or confidential details of anyone accessing services in your submission.

If you would like to share good practice please complete the form below.

Download the Easy Read version of the above form here.

If you would like you can complete this form and email it to Oonagh Brown or submit it via post to:
