Recruitment: Evidence and Research Officer

We are recruiting an Evidence and Research Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a developing researcher with excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail to further develop their research and project management skills.

You will have an enthusiasm and passion for social research and understand its role in social policy making. You will be curious; and proactive when exploring policy gaps which can be filled with research and evidence activity.

You will have experience in undertaking systematic and pragmatic literature and evidence reviews designed around specific topics and understand how to utilise a wide range of existing data and research sources.

Your written outputs will be of a very high standard, and suitable for a range of audiences. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders accessibly are essential.

Experience of designing and applying quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in a policy setting would be advantageous, particularly utilising analytical software packages such as NVivo, Tableau and Stata.

A dedicated team player, you will join a small organisation, and be keen to develop your skill set to meet the needs of SCLD in this role. We are seeking to recruit an individual with a positive attitude who shares our values, as much as an absolutely defined set of skills and experience.

The salary for the position will be set between Β£25-28,000.
