Theatre company Mind The Gap is joining with SCLD and the UK Working Together with Parents Network to explore the issues facing parents with learning disabilities in Scotland and across the UK.
Held during Scotland’s national Learning Disability Week, this production will encourage reflection on the rights of parents with learning disabilities to private and family life.
With contributions from the Children and Young People’s Commissioner Scotland, Bruce Adamson, an expert panel and the opportunity to take part in an interactive Forum Theatre piece, this free event is not to be missed!
Last year, MIA was performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Summerhall:
“The audience will be taken through an emotional rollercoaster with every scene as the cast asks us to do a reality check on what we take for granted.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Miriam Larrainzar – Ed Fest Mag
