A survey was required to find out what matters most to people with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders in Scotland today.

The purpose of the evaluation was to consider the impact of the course on practice and in particular to find out if the person centred approach of the course is effective. A further aim was to make recommendations about anything that could be improved.

Perth and Kinross Council wanted to know what services are offering good value to the local authority. A crucial part of the answer to that question is to discover which services are delivering good outcomes for people.

A Multi Agency Inspection of services in Ayrshire was carried out. SCLD wanted to find out people's opinions and experiences about their quality of life and the services they received.

The purpose of the Joint Inspection was to look at outcomes for service users and see if they felt that they had experienced changes in their support. We also wanted to see what people thought about the quality of services.
