Development work
In 2009, the eSAY team began some development work with the following aims:
- To improve data quality
- To improve the consistency of the data
- To reduce the proportion of ‘unknown’ responses
To assist us to achieve these goals local authorities were invited to submit brief proposals to lead on developing areas of eSAY that require linkages with other data providers. The development areas are:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Further Education
- Employment
- Local Area Co-ordination
- Insight database
The local authorities involved are currently writing reports for the eSAY team which will help to improve the data collection process and the quality of data. They will be available to download from the Publications and Resources page soon.
