Making the 2009 statistics release accessible
The eSAY National Reference Group have been working on easier to read versions of the sections in the 2009 statistics release. They decided to create a booklet for each section which tells people the main numbers. This means that you can read all of the booklets to find out all of the information that eSAY collected or just one to find out the information you are interested in.
There are 9 booklets. Each one telsl you how many adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders:
- live in Scotland

- live with a family carer
- live with other adults who also have a learning disability
- have a local area co-ordinator
- have a personal life plan
- have an advocate
- have a job
- attend a day centre and have alternative day opportunities
- attend a further education course
The booklets can be downloaded here.

The eSAY National Reference Group will soon start working on making these pages as accessible as possible. We hope you like them when we are finished!
