History of Citizen Leadership

The term "Citizen Leadership" was made up by the User and Carer Panel when they were involved in the 21st Century Social Work Review. Find out more about the 21st Century Social Work Review at www.socialworkscotland.org.uk

Citizen Leadership also appeared in the Review’s report, Changing Lives. The Panel thought that the transformation of social work services recommended in Changing Lives could only be brought about if Citizen Leadership was developed throughout Scotland. The User and Carer Panel wrote the report describing Citizen Leadership and this can be found at the beginning of the Principles and Standards document.
