People who work with LACs in the Western Isles have been campaigning against proposed cuts to the Local Area Co-ordination service. Western Isles Council are to hold a consultation with the users of the LAC service before making any decisions about the future of the service.

SCLD are trying to find out people's experiences of going to college. We have made an easy read questionnaire to help gather information about how people feel about college. You can download the
SCLD and Paperbag were recently funded by the Scottish Government to make a DVD about self-directed support for people with learning disabilities and family carers. The film is now available to watch online.
You can now read or download the Values into Practice framework summary consultation report
