Research

These pages will give you some information about research which is relevant to people with learning disabilities. Research is normally a type of project which tries to find out information. Some research is completed by scientists like doctors, for example if they want to find out what kind of medicines work best for a particular problem. Other research is completed by social scientists, which tries to find out information about what people think or how they live. Both types of research are important to people with learning disabilities. On these pages we will try to explain a bit about research which you might find interesting. If there is a piece of research which you would like us to include on these pages, please contact Chloe. Her contact details are available on the Meet the Staff pages. We will try to keep these pages as up to date as we can.
