Lisa Curtice Director
I am the Director of SCLD. I am responsible for the way that SCLD develops. My key skills are: Facilitation, Evaluation, Policy briefing.
"My particular strength is findings ways to listen to make sure that the views of disabled people and staff are included in evaluations. I am also proud of the way that I can link practice to national policies in all of the work that I do. I have 30 years’ experience of research in health and community care. I worked with the World Health Organisation in Europe on healthy cities and have written about services for older people and people with learning disabilities. I have a particular interest in improving services for people with high support needs."

Clare Mills Training Officer
I am the Training Officer. I design and deliver a variety of training courses offered by SCLD.
As part of my role I work with our team of Co-trainers to build capacity and support them to design and deliver training courses. i am also a graphic facilitator (draws what happens in meetings) and has facilitatated person centred MAPs and PATHs for individuals and groups.

Jan Murdoch Public Education and Communication Manager
I am involved with organising and managing SCLD events and co-ordinating Learning Disability Week. I am also the editor of SCLD News and supports other SCLD publications such as the Annual Report.
Some of the other things I'm working on is managing the 'What's Out There?' project, access to justice and how to raise awareness of the issues affecting people with learning disabilities and their families.

Andy Miller Policy and Practice Development Manager
I am the Policy and Practice Development Manager. I am responsible for developing SCLD's consultancy programme.
"I joined SCLD in 2004. Before that I managed an advocacy organisation in Glasgow. I have a particular interest in finding ways for people with learning disabilities to live authentic lives, with services, families and others supporting them to do this. As well as using the skills and experience of SCLD’s staff team, I also coordinate a network of freelance consultants to increase our capacity to deliver on a wide range of projects."

I am the Project Co-ordinator. I am part of the National Local Area Co-ordination Development team and co-ordinates some consultancy projects too.

I am a Finance & Hr Officer. I support SCLD as part of the Administration team.

I am a Co-Trainer. I delivers lots of different courses for SCLD and also help to design them.
I also helps to keep the training department records up to date and is involved with our wider team of Co-trainers.

I am a Research Officer with SCLD. This means that I gather information and try to work out what it tells us. I like my job because it involves lots of different activities like interviewing people, reading, working with numbers and writing about interesting subjects.

I am responsible for the development of the eSAY dataset. Specific development areas include: education; employment; Local Area Co-ordination; Autism Spectrum Disorder and links with Insight (a careers information database).

I oversee the training department. I also organise our work plan and deliver training too.
I liaise with potential customers and promote SCLD training wherever I go. I also design courses, and I can undertake training needs analysis and evaluations.

I am a Consultant on the Citizen Leadership project. My key skills are: photography, audio recording and IT. Previous experience involved raising awareness of bullying and hate crime directed at people with learning disabilites. I also have a short story called 'A Trip Doon the Watter' which is published in a book entitled 'It's Better Than Watching the Telly' a collection of short stories written by a group of young adults with Learning Disabilities.

Fiona Horton Administrator
My main tasks are co-ordinating meetings, marketing and organising conferences and events within SCLD and providing support to various projects such as the LAC Team, Health and Medical Issues Working Group and in Control Scotland.

Angela Henderson National LAC Development and Policy Worker
I am the National LAC Development and Policy Worker. I work with Claire and Laura to help support the development and implementation of Local Area Co-ordination in Scotland. We also work closely with the National Reference group who make sure that the voices of people with learning disabilities are at the centre of this project. I am currently working with colleagues to build up the evidence of how Local Area Co-ordination can deliver good outcomes for people and and communities in a cost effective way. We have also written a practice framework for Local Area Co-ordination. I enjoy my job very much and I particularly like meeting all the different people that get involved with SCLD's work.

I am a learning disability nurse for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. I work in collaboration with SCLD to tackle health inequalities faced by patients with learning disabilities. I design and deliver training with the overall aim for an inclusive NHS.
