Merchant Exchange is based in the city centre of Glasgow. If you need any help in finding us, please give us a call on 0141 559 5720.

Here are some basic directions on how to get to us:

Walking

From Queen Street: 

• Use the exit beside Burger King
• Go down the stairs
• Walk straight along the right hand side of George Square until you reach Ingram Street on your left hand side.
• Walk along Ingram Street and take the 3rd right onto Glassford Street.
• Walk along Glassford Street and take the 2nd left onto Wilson Street.
• At the end of Wilson Street cross the road and walk past Merchant Square. You are now on Bell Street. SCLD is on the other side of the road just before Pancho Villas restaurant.
 

From Central Station: 

• Exit onto Union Street.
• Turn right and go down Union Street until it meets with Argyle Street.
• Turn left onto Argyle Street.
• Walk along Argyle Street. You will pass Marks and Spencer on your left hand side.
• You are now on Trongate. Turn left when you reach Candleriggs.
• Take the next road on the road right.
• You are now on Bell Street. Turn right and the SCLD office is on your right hand side.

From Argyll Street Station:

• Exit onto Argyle Street.
• Turn right and walk along Argyle Street. You will pass Marks and Spencer on your left hand side.
• You are now on Trongate. Turn left when you reach Candleriggs.
• Take the next road on the road right.
• You are now on Bell Street. Turn right and the SCLD office is on your right hand side.
 

Driving

From East:

• Travelling on the M8 (westbound), you should come off at Junction 15 (marked for the Cathedral).
• Once you are off the motorway, stay in the inside lane and go straight through the first set of traffic lights.
• Stay in the inside lane and take the filter lane off to the left.
• You will come to a second set of traffic lights and will see a Clydesdale Bank on your left and University of Strathclyde halls of residence in front of you.
• Drive on to the next set of lights and get into the right hand lane. The Cathedral should be straight in front of you.
• At this set of lights turn right, the museum of religion (St Mungo's) is on your left and BaronyChurch on your right.
• Go straight down High Street passing High Street train station on your left. Take the second right onto Ingram Street.
• Go down Ingram Street and take the first left onto Albion Street.
• Bell Street is the first right. Please be aware that this is a no entry street for cars from this direction.
• Parking is available on your right hand side at QPark Candleriggs if you continue driving down Albion Street.
 

From West:

• Travelling on the M8 (eastbound), come off at Junction 15 (marked for the Cathedral)
• Get into the far right hand lane.
• You will come to traffic lights and will be facing the Royal Infirmary.
• The road goes slightly to the right past the Infirmary. Drive straight on, passing the Cathedral on your left
• Go straight down High Street passing High Street train station on your left. Take the second right onto Ingram Street.
• Go down Ingram Street and take the first left onto Albion Street.
• Bell Street is the first right. Please be aware that this is a no entry street for cars from this direction.
• Parking is available on your right hand side at QPark Candleriggs if you continue driving down Albion Street.

Parking:

In our own car park we have 1 space available for visitors who have a disability. We may also have other spaces available depending on the date of your visit. If you would like to know the availability of spaces in our car park please phone us on 0141 559 5720 before your visit. 

There is some on-street parking in the streets in and around our offices. This will normally be metered parking for which there will be a charge. The QPark Candleriggs on Albion Street is the nearest carpark to our office. We can give you a voucher before you go back to the carpark which means you will get 50% off the normal cost of parking there.
