The Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability is a charity that is made up of 12 Partner Organisations who have joined together with funding from the Scottish Government to help people make the changes set out in “The same as you?”

"The same as you?" was published by the Scottish Government in May 2000. It was the result of listening to people with learning disabilities, family carers and people who plan and provide services and supports. It contains 29 recommendations – things that have to happen to make the lives of people with learning disabilities better. It says that children and people with learning disabilities and their families should be able to have a good life, like anyone else.
